Who is it for?

Children from about 5 to 10. Early counters can play Plus Minus on No timer with counting dots; older children can race the meteor through the times tables.

What language is the game in?

English, with the sums and the monsters' names read aloud in English. There is no Indonesian version yet.

Is this the same Kidi Monster Math from before?

Yes. It is an update to the original app with the same idea, a new cut-paper look, lots of new ways to play, and the ads taken out.

Does it work without internet?

Yes. It only goes online to check for game updates. Buying or restoring Pro needs a connection to the store.

How do I open the parents' corner?

Tap the parent button at the top left of the menu and enter your 4-digit PIN. The first time, you choose the PIN there. Settings, Pro, buying and restoring are all inside.

Could my child buy something by accident?

No. Prices and the Buy button appear only in the parents' corner, behind the PIN. A child who taps a locked item hears "ask a parent" and never sees a price.

I bought Pro. How do I get it back on a new or reset device?

Sign in to the same Apple ID or Google account that bought Pro.
Install Kidi Monster Math and open the parents' corner.
Tap Restore purchase. Pro unlocks again without paying twice.

Can my other children use Pro on their devices?

On the App Store, Pro works across your family with Family Sharing. On any store, signing in to the account that bought Pro and tapping Restore purchase unlocks it on that device.

How do I ask for a refund?

Payment is handled by Apple or Google, so refunds go through them under their own policy. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play: the order history in your Google account. We are happy to help if you get stuck.

I forgot the parents' PIN.

On the PIN screen, tap "Forgot your PIN?". The app asks for a parent's birth year to check that an adult is there, then lets you choose a new PIN. Your child's progress is kept, and the birth year is not saved.

How do I start my child's progress over?

Tap Reset progress in the parents' corner and confirm. It clears your child's progress and reports and puts the settings back to their defaults; your PIN and Pro stay.

There is no sound, or the sums aren't read aloud.

Check the speaker button at the top right of the menu, the device's volume and silent switch, and "Read every sum aloud" in the parents' corner. In Relaxed mode every sum is read aloud.

Privacy Policy

Kidi Monster Math collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your child's progress stays on the device. The only thing the app sends anywhere is a check for game updates, which carries no information about you or your child.

Who we are

Kidi Monster Math is made by Dihardja Software ("we", "us"). This policy covers the Kidi Monster Math app on the App Store and Google Play.

What stays on the device

To work, the app saves the following in its own storage on the phone or tablet:

Progress: the best score and stars for each stage and times table, the Daily Challenge results and streak, and the hats chosen for the monsters. Stickers are counted from these.
Practice figures shown in the parents' corner: right and wrong answers per operation, the sums missed most, games played, and play time in total and week by week for the last 12 weeks.
Settings: the timer choice, read-aloud, counting dots, vibration and sound.
The parents' PIN, kept as a scrambled code rather than the digits themselves.
Whether Pro has been bought.

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when the app is deleted. A parent can also reset the progress from the parents' corner: that clears the progress and practice figures and puts the settings back to their defaults, and keeps the PIN, Pro and the sound on or off.

If a parent forgets the PIN, the app asks for their birth year to check that an adult is typing. The year is used for that check only and is not saved.

Purchases

Kidi Monster Math Pro is a one-time purchase made through the App Store or Google Play. The store handles the payment; we never see a name, email address or payment details. The app asks the store, on the device, whether Pro has been bought, so that it can unlock Pro and restore it on a new device. The buy and restore buttons are only inside the parents' corner, behind the parents' PIN.

The one thing that leaves the device

When the app looks for a newer version of its game files it sends our update server: the app's id and version, the platform and its operating system version, the version of the updater, whether it is running on an emulator or a test build, the store it was installed from, and a random install id made up by the app. The install id is not linked to you, your child or the device's advertising id. The updater's own usage statistics are turned off. We use this information only to deliver updates.

What the app does not do

No accounts, sign-in, names or email addresses.
No ads, analytics, tracking or advertising id.
No camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos. On Android it uses two permissions, neither of which shows a prompt: internet access, for the update check, and vibration, for the buzz on an answer, which a parent can turn off.
No chat or links to other people. The voices that read the sums aloud are recordings built into the app.
We do not sell or share data, because we do not collect any.

Children

The app is made for children. Because it collects no personal information, it does not collect personal information from children, in line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR and the App Store Kids Category and Google Play Families rules. A child never sees a price or a buy button.

Changes to this policy

If the app starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date above before that version is released.

Kidi Monster Math is free to play. Pro is an optional one-time purchase for parents, made through the App Store or Google Play. There are no subscriptions and no ads. The store handles payment and refunds.

Agreement

These terms are between you and Dihardja Software ("we", "us") and apply to the Kidi Monster Math app. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you download it from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if you download it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. If these terms and the store's terms disagree, the store's terms win for matters the store controls, such as payment and refunds.

The app is made for children to use with a parent or guardian's permission. The parent or guardian who installs it accepts these terms on the child's behalf.

Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent or modify the app, or try to get its source code, except where the law allows it.

Free and Pro

Free includes the Plus Minus and Multiply Divide stages, all the times tables from 2 to 10, the Daily Challenge, all three timer choices, the hats, every learning aid and the parents' settings.

Kidi Monster Math Pro adds:

the Mix Mix stage;
the parents' reports: right answers per operation, the sums missed most, and right answers and play time week by week;
practice rounds made from the sums your child misses most.

Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. The price is shown by the store in your currency before you pay. Pro is bought only from the parents' corner, behind the parents' PIN; keep your PIN private so that a child cannot reach the buy button.

Payment, refunds and restoring Pro

Payment is taken by Apple or Google. We never receive your payment details.
Refunds are handled by the store under its own policy. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play: the order history in your Google account.
Pro is tied to the store account that bought it. Tap Restore purchase in the parents' corner to get it back on a new or reset device signed in to the same account.
Where the store's family sharing is available for the product, family members can use Pro too.
Clearing progress in the app does not remove Pro.

Updates

We may update the app, including its game content, through the store or by downloading new game files in the background. We may add, change or remove features, but we will not take away the Pro features you paid for while the app remains available.

Learning content

The app is a practice game. It is not a replacement for teaching, and we do not promise any particular result in school or tests.

Ownership

The app, its art, monsters, music, voices and code belong to Dihardja Software or its licensors. These terms do not give you any rights to them beyond the licence above.

Disclaimer and limit of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be free of errors or always available, and our total liability to you for anything related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Privacy

The app collects no personal data. See the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version and its date will be on this page. Using the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
