Digital self-care platform for diabetic type-2 patients
Loop Health is a startup founded by medical professionals who wanted to create a comprehensive digital self-care platform for diabetic type-2 patient. The mobile app focuses on 3 pillars: monitoring, content, and coaching. The app has blood sugar monitoring and food and daily activities log. There is also health programs containing educational articles, videos and more to help patients achieve their health goals. Lastly, the app also offers one-on-one coaching sessions with Diabetic Consultants. The Loop Health team initially started with Bubble apps for their MVP. But after facing various limitations, the Loop Team reached out to Dihardja Software to create custom mobile apps that could meet the needs of their users. The app is currently available to select participants only.
How Dihardja Software helps?
Before we start designing Loop Health mobile applications, Dihardja Software team together with Loop Health team performed user research, user testing and in-depth interviews with users and coaches. Upon considering the feedback from the user, coach, and business side, we designed and developed native iOS and Android applications, as well as a web portal for coaches.
- Benchmarking to similar apps with data logging and coaching feature to find the best practice for Loop Apps
- Conducting user testing and in depth interview to gather information about users’ frustrations and unmet needs
- Designing mobile app for iOS and Android and web dashboard for coach
- Developing native iOS & Android applications
- Developing web backend and content management system (CMS)
