Sarinah is an iconic retail establishment in Indonesia. Established by Indonesian founding father, Soekarno, in 1966 as the first modern department store in Indonesia, Sarinah’s mission is to become center of trade and promotion for locally-made products and to empower small, medium enterprises and cooperatives’ products. In 2020, Sarinah’s flagship store in Thamrin is undergoing a major refurbishment and scheduled to reopen in 2022. Aside from the reopening of Sarinah’s new flagship store, the team also wants to build its digital presence by offering digital loyalty program, digital vouchers, and eventually an e-commerce service.
