Siloam Hospitals is the largest private healthcare provider in Indonesia, operating over 40 hospitals and 30 clinics serving millions of patients throughout the country. In 2018, Siloam Hospitals come up with an idea to develop mobile app that offers preventive care for its patients to complement the curative care offered through the hospital’s service. Through the app, user can track their health metrics such as weight, blood glucose, and blood pressure. They can also log their diet and track their prescription intake with a prescription reminder. User can also book appointment with doctors and view their medical records, a first among hospitals in Indonesia. After the COVID pandemic, the app added an integrated teleconsultation feature. Patients can book and consult virtually with a doctor, get a prescription and have the medicine delivered to their doorsteps.
